The overpasses of the rivers Aguanaz and Pontones has been projected with two bowstring typology arches with a span of 60 m made of structural steel.
Both bridges present a similar arrangement with two lateral inclined steel arches tied by the deck longitudinal edge beams. The slab of the deck is made with reinforced-concrete and lies on transversal metallic diaphragms which are placed every 4 m along the bridge edges, hanged with ties by the elevated arches, which with the aim of avoiding a feeling of oppression of the users, were taken out the vertical plane making the distance between the two arches greater along thir height.
Each inclined supported plane is actually formed by three elements, the arch, the ties, and a longitudinal girder in the arising of the arches in which ties and diaphragms converge.
